Honest Review of Deflecto Stackable Caddy Organizer

How Does the Deflecto Stackable Caddy Organizer Work?
The name tells you a lot about this organizing tool. It is a stackable tool and so the height will vary depending on how many stacking organizers you buy.
You need to start off with the Deflecto Stackable Caddy Organizer Base. This has wheels on it and that makes moving it around the room easy.
Next you will decide how many organizers you want to stack on. I have six and that is about as tall as I think it can safely go.
Each organizer layer stacks and snaps onto the one below it. They are very easy to unsnap and take apart. The video below will show you exactly how it works.
Clear Containers Are My Best Friend
I LOVE that the Deflecto Stackable Caddy Organizer
Each organizer level has 3 containers. There is a small, a medium and a large container. They are made of a hard clear plastic type material. They are fairly sturdy, but I can see how the clear plastic could crack if you aren't gentle with it.
The clear containers allow me to see what is inside. As basic as that sounds, it is actually one of my favorite aspects of this organizer.
I can spin this around and get a look at everything I have inside. This saves me a lot of time!
Sizes Work Great For Small Supplies
These containers are not huge. Here are the container sizes:
- Small Container – 4.375″ x 4.1875″ x 4.375″
- Medium Container – 8.75″ x 4.1875″ x 4.375″
- Large Container – 13.25″ x 4.1875″ x 4.375″
They work perfectly for smaller supplies, but will not hold large or heavy items. Be sure you know what you want to keep in the Deflecto Stackable Caddy Organizer before you guy it!
The Downside to the Deflecto Stackable Caddy Organizer
I don't know very many products that don't have a flaw or two. There are only a couple of things I think could be improved upon when it comes to this organizer.
First off it can't (or shouldn't) hold heavy items. This is made of plastic and it can't support a ton of weight.
When I take this along to a crop outside of my home I do not try to roll it over pavement or bumpy surfaces. I just pick it up and carry it inside. Since it is lightweight this isn't a problem for me.
The problem is that I do feel like I have to be careful with the organizer so that it doesn't end up cracked or broken.
It can take some time to “unstack” all of the containers if what you are looking for is at the bottom! 🙂
This is a WIN Overall
Overall I love the Deflecto Stackable Caddy Organizer. My embellishments are so much more organized and I am using more of my “stash” this way.
I took it to a recent crop and several people looked it over and expressed interest in getting their own!
I can definitely see myself getting another one in the future. This doesn't take up a ton of space in my craft room and I think 2 would fit just fine.
