I want to tell you how to save money on Cricut products so you can buy extra supplies! Whether you are looking to buy a new Cricut machine or you just need the supplies, these tips will help you.
HOW TO SAVE MONEY ON CRICUT SUPPLIES
There are lots of ways to save money on craft supplies. Name brand Cricut supplies are higher priced than many other brands. A lot of people like buying name-brand supplies because they feel the quality is worth it.
If you fall into that category, no worries. You can save on these Cricut products.
EASY WAY TO SAVE ON CRICUT
One of the simplest ways to save money on Cricut is through cash-back apps. My personal favorite is Rakuten.
I have the Rakuten extension on my computer, and whenever I am shopping online, it will pop open and tell me if I can get a percentage of my purchase back by clicking their link. The percentage will vary based on the time of year, but on average, it is 2% back.
I admit 2% isn't much, but if you are buying a new machine, it will add up. It is also 2% that takes one second to obtain.
SAVE WITH CRICUT MYSTERY BOXES
Cricut mystery boxes have been around for a while. The prices can vary, and so can the boxes. As I am typing this article, they are offering a Disney-themed mystery box for $29.99. There is typically $100 or more in products inside.
This is a great way to build up your supplies. It is also a great way to give gifts to crafty friends.
CRICUT SALES
The Cricut website has many sales each year, and some are very good. Watch their sales tab each week to find out what their latest sale is, and sometimes it will include shipping discounts.
Be sure to sign up for my email list because, occasionally, I have special codes for my email subscribers for secret deals.
BUY CRICUT AT BIG BOX CRAFT STORES
Another option to save money on Cricut is to purchase the items at stores like Hobby Lobby, Michaels and Joann.
They will have sales that include these products, especially around the holidays.
One thing to remember is that their coupons almost always EXCLUDE Cricut products.
BUY-SELL-TRADE CAN HELP YOU SAVE ON CRICUT
I love watching my local Buy Sell Trade Facebook groups or Marketplace for craft supplies. It is normal to see almost new Cricut machines for sale. People will buy the machine and then realize they aren't using it and want to sell it at a loss.
It never hurts to make them an offer if you feel the price is too high.
You can also find rolls of Cricut vinyl for sale in these selling groups. People over buy and then don't want to store the supplies.
Always remember safety when purchasing from people you don't know.
ONLINE SELLING SITES ARE A PLACE TO FIND CRICUT SUPPLIES
Another option for saving money on your Cricut supplies is to turn to online selling sites like Ebay and Mercari. I feel like you may have cheaper shipping costs on Mercari due to their shipping procedures.
LOCAL SCRAPBOOKING STORES GARAGE SALES
I hope you still have a local scrapbooking store. We have a store about 40 minutes away. Our local store, Scrap Funattic, holds a garage sale twice a year for their patrons. All the area scrapbookers will sell their own items at the store in garage sale fashion.
This is a great place to find amazing deals on all sorts of craft supplies, including Cricut products.
You should also keep an eye out at flea markets and thrift stores. You never know what you will find.
Some of my crafty friends have gotten together and had a crafts only garage sale and invited their crafty friends. They always have great deals.

These paid plans are for people who use their machines a lot.
BUY OFF-BRAND SUPPLIES
Not everyone likes buying off-brand supplies, but it is a budget-friendly option.
Store brands can be very cost-effective and go on sale regularly.
Another idea is to order from Temu. I recently ordered cutting mats from Temu and was thrilled with how well they worked. I used the mat multiple times, and it was just the right amount of sticky. They have different sizes and mat strengths.
You will also find large rolls of clear vinyl transfer paper for rock-bottom prices. If you are looking for vinyl, tools, self-healing mats, or sticker paper…they have it. Please remember their shipping time is usually close to 2 weeks.
So far, all the craft supplies I have ordered from Temu have been of great quality.
